Thank you for choosing Fireplace Services to help you with your fireplace needs. Listed below is some basic information on our policies and warranties for our services and products we provide. If nothing is listed about the product below, factory warramties will apply. Please look through them and if you have any questions please let us know. After you have read these and have had your questions answered, please click on the I authorize work button. By clicking on the button and entering your name and address of where the work will be performed, you are authorizing  Fireplace Services to perform requested  service and agree to pay for services and parts as requested and quoted.

 REPAIR WORK

 

Fireplace Services makes every effort possible to repair your fireplace. Due to age of the fireplace some parts may not be available from the factory or aftermarket. During repair parts unfortunately maybe broken due to use and age. Fireplace Services will not be held responsible for any costs should a part break trying to repair the fireplace. Fireplace Services will do its best to find parts and quote the costs to repair broken parts. Should the broken part be required for safe operation and parts are not available Fireplace Services will render the fireplace unusable and take it out of service. Fireplace Services will not be responsible for any costs associated to the fireplace should it be taken out of service. All parts ordered for the repair are considered special order and are non refundable and/or returnable. Fireplace Services warranties parts we supply for repair for 1 year or longer if the manufacturer has a longer one.  Fireplace Services warranties it's labor for 1 year or longer if the manufacturer has a longer one. Labor warranty is on the parts used we supplied in the original service repair. Should something else be found wrong no labor warranty will be given unless we have performed a maintenance service within a year. Fireplace Services will not be responsible for any part or labor warranty if parts are supplied by the homeowner or someone else. Homeowner will be responsible to get reimbursed for parts and labor if any from where they purchased the parts from. Fireplace Services reserves the right to revoke warranties at anytime should the fireplace not be used as intended per manufacturers directions or directed by Fireplace Services. Homeowner may be responsible for shipping  and other charges not covered by warranty. 

 

This warranty gives you specific rights; you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, FIREPLACE SERVICES MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THE WARRANTY SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO DURATION OF THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY SPECIFIED ABOVE.

  Fireplace Services does it's best to make sure everything is inspected to confirm the fireplace system is installed to local and national codes. We make every effort to make sure the fireplace is safe to operate.  Should the fireplace not work Fireplace Services will diagnose what is wrong and offer a quote for repair. Some parts of the system may be impossible to check such as but not limited to venting behind the wall or areas around the fireplace with no access. Fireplace Services will not remove or alter any areas to view hidden parts of the fireplace for inspection. Fireplace Services will not have or be held responsible for any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by the inspected fireplace and our inspection report. The inspection report will normally be emailed within a few days after the inspection unless we need to check on some issues that could delay the process. When we can not find factory specifications for clearances, we will base or findings off national code requirements. Fireplace Services does not at this time inspect or clean internal woodburning chimney systems other than visually inspecting the pipe and chimney we can see.

 

 

 PARTS

 

Fireplace services uses some of the best products in the industry. Listed below are some of our product warranties. Unless listed below and not listed above in our repair service disclaimer should we be installing, all parts will have a 90 day warranty.  All parts ordered in are considered special order and can't be returned and/or refunded.  Should your part fail under the warranty time frame. Please contact us to start the warranty claim. Some manufacturers require the part to be sent back for them to test. If this is the case it may take up to 6 weeks if the factory is busy to test and return the part. should the part be returned because it is not bad, you will be charged for the shipping costs. Fireplace Services offers on some parts a replacement up front that you can purchase so you can get your fireplace up and running. If your part is found to be defective, we will issue a credit for what you paid. If the part comes back good you will be charged for the shipping and your part will be returned to you. No refund or return will be accepted on the part you purchased. If you are not sure the part is bad we recommend having us perform a service call. Part purchases only don't have labor warranty.

 

 

SKYTECH REMOTES LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

 

SKYTECH II warrants the SKYTECH REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM for a Limited Lifetime of the original owner of this system. This warranty is not transferable to another person it is for the original purchaser of the product. Should any part fail because of defective workmanship or material from the original date of purchase. SKYTECH II will repair or, at SKYTECH II option, replace the defective parts.

 

Replacement parts will be available at no charge for the first (5) five years of this warranty, and will be available at market cost for the Lifetime of the product to that original owner. If SKYTECH II does not have the parts for an individual model, then a replacement SYSTEM will be provided; At no charge for the first (5) five years and sold at market cost for the Lifetime of that product to the original owner.

 

The Owner must provide a bill of sale, cancelled check, or payment record should be kept to verify purchase date and establish warranty period. Travel, diagnostic cost, service labor to repair the defective SYSTEM, and freight charges on warranty parts to and from the factory will be the responsibility of the owner. SKYTECH will not be responsible for labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, replacement, or for incidental or consequential damages. Batteries and any damage caused by them are not covered by them are not covered by this warranty.

 

This warranty does not cover claims, which do not involve defective workmanship or materials.

 

Damage to the SYSTEM caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or installation error, whether performed by a contractor, Service Company, or owner, is not covered by this warranty. Modification of the SKYTECH product will void this warranty.

  

IN NO EVENT SHALL SKYTECH BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL INCLUDING THE IMPLIED

WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN

WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER ORAL OR WRITTEN WARRANTIES.

 

Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental and consequential damages or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state, province, and nation.

 

SKYTECH BLOWERS TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY


SKYTECH II warrants this Fan system for two years or 24 months from the date of purchase to the original owner. This warranty is NOT transferable to another person. Should any part fail because of defective workmanship or material from the original date of purchase SKTECH II will repair or replace the part at SKYTECH II option.


Damage to the Fan system caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or installation error, whether by a contractor, service company, or owner is not covered by this warranty. Modification of the Fan System will void the warranty.

 

The owner must provide a bill of sale, to verify purchase date and establish warranty period. SKYTECH II is not responsible for: Travel expenses, Diagnostic costs, and Service labor to repair the defective Fan system. Freight charges will not be covered on warranty parts or Fan systems.


This warranty does not cover claims, which do not involve defective workmanship or materials.


IN NO EVENT SHALL SKYTECH II BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL OCCURRENCES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. THIS WARRATNY SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER ORAL OR WRITTEN WARRANTIES.

RESIDENTIAL RETREAT DOORS

 

If within one year from the date of original purchase, this item fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will replace or repair at our option, free of charge. To order parts or to obtain warranty service, call 1-877-447-4768, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST. This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper or abnormal use, misuse, accident, or alteration. Failure to follow all instructions in the ownerʼs manual will also void this warranty. GHP Group, Inc. will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

 

 

Replacement Glass

 

Replacement glass does not have a warranty of any kind beyond the initial first fire Fireplace Services will perform if we install the glass. This first fire will test the glass to see if there is any defects that would cause the glass to break during normal use. Fireplace Services will inspect all glass for any chips or flaws that could be an issue prior to homeowner installing themself. No glass will be given if any signs there may be breakage from defects during homeowner installation and will be re ordered at no cost to the homeowner.

  

Gaskets and Firebrick / Refractory

 

Gaskets are concidered a wearable part and will not have any type of warranty. Gaskets Fireplace Services installs will have a 7 day warranty.

 

Firebrick and refractories does not have any warranty of any kind. These products are checked for flaws prior to homeowner taking possession or Fireplace Services installing them.

  

Linked Sites

Fireplace Services (hereinafter, the "Company") does not and cannot control the content or accuracy of information available through hyperlinks on its webpages to other Web Sites. The Company is not a publisher of content posted by third-parties on linked sites. The Company exercises no editorial control over, and accordingly accepts no liability for, any information posted on linked sites.

 

Changes

The products and services advertised on the Company's website (the "Site") may be provided by third-party vendors, and are expected to change from time to time. The Company accepts no responsibility for any such changes.

  

No Warranty

THE COMPANY MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE GOODS AND SERVICES AVAILABLE OR ADVERTISED ON ITS SITE.
